My name is Rob den Braber and I have been a member of Grid-IT since October 2008. I began my IT career in 1999 with OpenVMS systems administration (including extended clusters). I later became involved with Unix, Linux(RHEL) and Oracle systems. I prefer to work with complex highly available systems which make use of the Oracle High Availability technology (RAC, Dataguard, Oracle VM).

One the the main reasons I joined Grid-IT was the way the partners share knowledge. The partners  regularly organise workshops where new Oracle features are examined both in theory and in practice. 

Currently I am working at a client where I am responsible for the configuration of Oracle Enterprise Linux systems for an Oracle GRID. This GRID consists of the following: Oracle Enterprise Linux, • Oracle Clusterware, Oracle ASM, Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Enterprise Manager.

In my free time I like to go running and spend time with my two children. I also spend quite a few evenings keeping up to date with the latest technological innovations related to my work.

 
My name is Ahmed Mohammad. I am a specialist in Databases. I have worked as systems administrator and DBA on various flavours of Unix and Windows using Oracle versions from 7 to 11. For the last few years I have concentrated on the design and implementation of Highly Available systems. You could say that my hobby is also my work. I love a challenge. For this reason it is important to me to keep up to date with the latest innovations with regards to Oracle High Avalability technologies. This was one of the reasons I chose to become a partner at Grid-IT.

 

My name is Ingo Wevers and I am one of the founders on Grid-It. In addition to managing the partnership I work as an Oracle project co-ordinator and Oracle DBA. From these two roles I have a good mix of hands off helicopter view and hands on Oracle experience. By concentrating on this Senior DBA role I am able to provide the best service to my client. Using my experience and interest in both organisational and technical processes I am able pro-actively recognise potential problems and provide solutions. In my daily activities I believe cooperation between people is very important. Cooperation through clear, concrete and honest communication with each other and always keep your promises.I believe that this combination of individuality, cooperation and technical knowledge is what is required to achieve the desired results.



My name is Bernhard de Cock Buning and I am one of the founders on Grid-It. In addition to being the Technical Coordinator within the partnership I work as a DBA/Consultant. In this role I specialise in High Availability (Real Application Cluster, Dataguard, MAA, Automatic Storage Management). I am still reaping the benefits from my experience working at Oracle Support from 1999 to 2006. I prefer to work with advising, implementing and problem solving with regards to the more difficult issues. In addition to this I enjoy sharing knowledge. Within Grid-IT we actively share knowledge. I also give various training courses and presentations at different clients. The fact that that you have to continuously keep learning and developing yourself in order to stay up to date is what I like about IT. For this reason I see  a lot of my work as my hobby.


I am Geert Megens. The past 11 years am I busy with Oracle and then particularly the DBA activities (versions Oracle 7 till 11). In this I have been possible develop further in Oracle RAC, ASM and Security (oid). Working in what more provocative surroundings have my preference. Important applications which I am thereby have encountered SAP, Oracle Enterprise manager and Siebel Analytics (oracle bi). Also I find the social side during my activities nicely to do. Your move, as it happens, not just as a product of Oracle somewhere. There much organisational challenges come look at with a lot of social aspects. The benefit to the civil partnership are that you can a company where you can share knowledge form with skilled people and with that your customers can grant a service which deviates from standard Oracle commits.


I am Geert Warris. Meanwhile almost 28 years experience in the ICT, ever started as rayon co-ordinator in the Field service. Afterwards chosen for further development combined in the world of software and functions fulfilled as support employee, technically consultant with presales functions. But also the time as systems engineer in the benchmarks and competency center of Sun Microsystems, in which we with ICT-partners were by means of proof or concept of the correct solutions. By means of companies such as Philips data systems, Digital, job Company, Sun Microsystems and Oracle started a new challenge in the partnership GRID-IT.

My interest and experience in implementation of technique and products are broad and each time it is interesting to fill in the architecture with an appropriate combination of products. That applies what me concerns for the whole pile as from hardware with control system and volume managers, database, networking etc. up to and including frontend. In every layer of this stack I have the necessary experience and my knowledge have gained trainings, workshops and presentations carried out.
